We are currently in search of candidates to fulfill the role of a Trust Officer within our established organization. As a Trust Officer, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the administration of fiduciary accounts, managing client relationships, and ensuring strict compliance with legal and regulatory standards. This presents a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in trust administration, coupled with a profound dedication to providing exceptional client service. The compensation package will be commensurate with your level of expertise.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Experience of 4+ years in trust administration within a Trust Company or financial institution.
  • Preferred possession of professional certifications, such as Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA).
  • Other educational achievements or professional certifications will be considered advantageous.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, clients, external advisors, and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise client fiduciary relationships, covering custody, investment management, trusts, IRAs, and estates.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of accounts, ensuring precision, compliance, and adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in trust accounting software and analyzing client materials using Excel, PowerPoint, and other software tools.
  • Offer comprehensive guidance to family office and multi-generational client families in various financial aspects, including wealth transfer planning, cash flow and tax planning, and legal structures involving trusts and business entities.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to formulate and implement comprehensive strategies.
  • Provide clients with invaluable support and advice on trust structures, asset management, estate planning, and wealth preservation.
  • Regularly review accounts and client relationships, addressing any issues or concerns, and making necessary recommendations.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including tax laws, trust regulations, and reporting obligations.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging developments in trust administration to elevate service delivery and maximize client satisfaction.
